This is a Special Air Service ( SAS ) Mess Shield and SLR ( Self loading Rifle L1A1 ) Combat Plaque
It features a wooden base with the the unit's badge on a raised shield with the units name in a scroll underneath and a SLR on the Combat Plaque.
The SLR are made out of Pewter,
The plaque size is approx 25.5cm x 18cm
The size of the mess shield is approx 11cm x 9.5cm
The SLR size is approx 18cm x 3.5cm
The combat plaque has a fitting on the rear so it can also be hung on the wall or free standing.
It is a lovely Plaque and very detailed.
